The Makers

Emily Anderson

Emily is a place and space maker and lover. An intuitive dreamer, schemer, and doer, she has been rejuvenating spaces her whole adult life. It is her art form and bringer of joy and peace. She has transformed numerous residential spaces, helped launch three celebrated Portland, OR restaurants, and ran her own business for 9 years (P’s & Q’s Market in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Portland, OR). She studied documentary film and now enjoys storytelling through spacemaking. For Em, realizing a vision that will improve the wellbeing of her clients, through creative challenges and joys, is her life’s work.

Penelope Rose Miller

Penelope has been a professional organizer for 20-plus years, transforming countless spaces. She is not in the field currently working in our clients’ homes, but she is running things behind the scenes. She has also been a certified coach with a private coaching practice for the last fourteen years. She is now also counseling individuals and couples, having completed her master’s in mental health counseling. Her love for working with people originally stemmed from her work organizing people one-on-one. Before that, she started out styling photo shoots in San Francisco and owned a vintage store in Portland, Oregon.

Penelope’s modalities, whether working with space or people, are based on creating a felt sense of being held so the nervous system feels safe enough for change to occur. She believes the spaces we inhabit play an intrinsic role in our ability to go out into the world feeling creative and full of our own vitality.
